Sake in America - The love for, and growth of what used to be a Japanese exclusive drink in America
My first exposure to Sake, properly referred to as Nihonshu, was during my first promotion while studying Karate in 1976. They served it hot by boiling a large bottle in a pot on top of a Hot Plate. Sometime during the 80s I was in a Japanese restaurant and had noticed they served Sake. I asked for some and my server asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I was intrigued as I never knew it could be drunk cold. That was all it took. Yada Yada Yada, many years later I created the Sake Collective.
Fast forward a few years, and here we are, making a documentary film about Sake in America.
Here is a little taste of what's to come:
Coming soon - In the meantime, please check out our other documentary films
I have conceived of, and written a lot of documentary films, sometimes as many as three a week. This is in addition to the many other commercial, narrative and TV series work I do.
I've also written several narrative films and a few TV series, but they can't be discussed here.
